Real Estate Resources
www.realtor.com -- THE number one real estate site on the web, bar none, traffic-wise. Realtor.com is the original, and is actually the official site of the National Association of Realtors. Search online for homes for sale not just here in the San Francisco bay area, but also anywhere else in the U.S.! Recently overhauled and drastically improved, many would argue that the real estate industry's "flagship" website is still the best.
www.sfgate.com - The San Francisco bay area's biggest and best newspaper is and will always be the San Francicso Chronicle. Sfgate.com is the SF Chronicle's online presence. Search their real estate listings and open house listings online, just as you would use their print newspaper (with its award-winning and trendsetting Sunday real estate section that includes the special open house pull-out section) if you enjoy your paper on a Sunday morning. You can use this site any day of the week, not just on Sundays.
www.realestateabc.com - Why waste your time messing around with questionable real estate sites (valuation or otherwise) that begin with the letter "Z" when you can instead start your research right at the beginning of the alphabet with your ABC'S instead?! This site is the "alpha", not the omega, of real estate valuation sites. We find the "Z" sites to be literally lagging on the tail end when it comes to real estate -- whether it be in terms of valuation, or rebates and discounts - so Zap right on past that Zilly site and check out Real Estate ABC, instead ... what would you rather get, anyway -- an A, or even a "B & C", or a "Z"?!
www.propertymaps.com - Just as the real estate world does not revolve around the big "Z", it does not need to revolve around the big "G", either. Although some monopoly companies seemingly have a monopoly on mapping out our earth, believe it or not, they do not -- well, not yet, at least. There are many other real estate mapping sites. We think PropertyMaps is a fine example of one, covering the U.S. -- check it out!
