3 The famous Lotta's Fountain, where a whole "lotta" people gathered after the great earthquake and fires of 1906, to meet up with other survivors and look for family and friends. There is an annual gathering at the fountain (no longer an active fountain)of survivors of the 1906 quake -- there are about a half dozen or so such folks left at last count -- all over 100 years old, of course.
